2022 Business / Arts Awards Celebration

On Wednesday, September 28th, at a sold-out event at the Artscape Wychwood Barns, we celebrated enduring partnerships and exceptional service to the arts at the 2022 Business / Arts Awards. The evening brought together more than 250 luminaries and leaders from both the arts and business sectors, and featured riveting performances by Countermeasure and the Robi Botos Trio. Your support was invaluable in helping us honour the tremendous achievements and remarkable contributions of this year’s award recipients.


2022 Business / Arts Award Recipients:

 

 

Frances and Tim Price were presented with the Edmond C. Bovey Award, honouring their outstanding legacy of philanthropy and volunteerism in the arts. 

 

Dr. Peter Simon received the Peter Herrndorf Arts Leadership Award in celebration of his 31 years as president and CEO of The Royal Conservatory.

John-Michael Erlendson received the Arnold Edinborough Award in recognition of his volunteer contributions as the general manager and president of SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival. 

BT/A Advertising received a Corporate Champion of the Arts Award for their dedication to marketing arts and culture with extraordinary results for over three decades. 

Canada Goose received the Corporate Champion of the Arts Award for their commitment to bringing meaningful art by Canadian and Inuit artists to audiences in unexpected spaces, through the Northern Art Program.

Stagehand and Music Mile received a Community Impact Award in recognition of their innovative partnership that supported artists in Calgary throughout the pandemic.
