Culture Track: Canada
Culture Track: Canada was a landmark study of the attitudes and behaviours of Canadian cultural audiences, released in 2018. As the first Canadian edition of the long-running Culture Track research initiative led by LaPlaca Cohen, a strategy, marketing, and design firm serving the creative and cultural sectors, it established an important baseline for understanding cultural participation across Canada. The study generated insights that helped inform subsequent audience research efforts, including ongoing initiatives such as the Arts Response Tracking Survey (ARTS), which continue to track evolving behaviours, attitudes, and trends shaping Canada’s cultural landscape.
