artsvest Toronto
Thank you for your interest in artsvest Regional for Toronto.
artsvest Toronto is accepting up to 15 organizations in 2024. All participating organizations will receive focused training, mentorship, and an average of $4000 in matching funds for new sponsorships.
Registration in the national artsvest program is a prerequisite to applying to an artsvest Regional program. Once registered for artsvest National, organizations can apply for artsvest Regional. Register for artsvest National here, if you are not already part of the National program.
Application Process:
Interested organizations will be asked to complete an online application that the review committee will assess.
To be eligible for artsvest Toronto, organizations must:
- Be a registered non-profit arts, heritage or culture organization.
- Have an operating budget of less than $1.5 million per year.
- Demonstrate an interest and need for training in sponsorship, marketing, governance, and/or fund development.
- Be located in the City of Toronto.
Priority will be given to organizations that:
- Serve Indigenous, Black, or other equity-deserving communities through their mandate and/or major programming.
- Work in the area of community-engaged arts.
- Have five or fewer full-time year-round employees.
- Operate programs primarily outside the downtown core.
- Are BIPOC-led.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
About artsvest and artsvest Regional:
artsvest is Business / Arts’ signature mentorship and training program, with a strong history and demonstrated success in building the capacity of Canada’s cultural sector.
artsvest Regional is a smaller, more focused program, available in areas where artsvest has secured regional investment. Offered in addition to the national artsvest program, artsvest Regional aims to grow the capacity of participating organizations in the area of sponsorship through comprehensive sponsorship training, expert mentorship, and a matching funds incentive. In order to apply for artsvest Regional programs, registration in the national artsvest program is required.
