Although I’m an accountant, my heart lies in the arts. I didn’t have any access to the arts growing up until I got a part-time job in high school and finally took music lessons- I decided to learn to play the violin. This is why I’m particularly excited about getting to work for a non-profit that helps contribute to art programs.

Jasper Sloan Yip est un musicien, un podcasteur, un producteur radio et un bâtisseur d’arts communautaires de Vancouver.
Artiste autodidacte, Jasper apporte un esprit de bricolage à tout ce qu’il fait. Il a donné son premier spectacle à la fin des années 1980 sur une scène qu’il avait construite dans son jardin. Depuis, il a sorti quatre albums et effectué des tournées sur trois continents.
Lorsqu’il n’est pas sur scène, dans un studio ou en train de travailler avec artsvest, vous pouvez le trouver à CiTR 101.9 FM à Vancouver, travaillant avec les curieux de la radio pour développer leurs ambitions de narration audio. Il aime cuisiner, collectionner les instruments de musique et est certifié pour faire de la plongée sous-marine à une profondeur de 30 mètres.

Erin Borch

Erin Borch is a multimedia storyteller and arts administrator, with a passion for audience development. Currently living in Calgary, Erin has produced bilingual marketing strategies for artists and organizations across Canada. She brings a history of curating digital content and amplifying programming initiatives for non-profit organizations including, ArtsBuild Ontario, Capital Heritage Connexion and Galeries Ontario / Ontario Galleries.
Erin holds an honours degree in Communication Studies and Political Science from Carleton University as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Arts Management from Centennial College.
When she is not exploring local art and culture, she can be found sipping an extra hot cup of coffee, trying to keep her tropical plant collection alive or getting lost in the Rocky Mountains.

Elle a plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans la gestion des organisations à but non lucratif et la philanthropie dans le secteur caritatif, notamment l’éducation, les soins de santé, le développement international, la politique et les arts et la culture. Plus récemment, elle a occupé le poste de directrice générale du Festival Antigonish Summer Theatre, où elle a mené l’organisation à travers une expansion des partenariats et de la sensibilisation du public, une croissance des parrainages et de la collecte de fonds, et a navigué dans la crise du COVID tout en assurant une solide assise financière.

Aubrey Reeves

En octobre 2020, Aubrey Reeves a rejoint Affaires/Arts en tant que présidente-directrice générale, un rôle qui lui permet de continuer sa mission et de veiller à ce que l’industrie des arts et de la culture avance durablement dans le futur.
Auparavant, Aubrey a occupé des rôles de direction au sein de la Fête de la culture depuis sa création en 2010. Cette année-là, Aubrey a été recrutée pour assurer le lancement du premier événement du weekend de la Fête de la culture en Ontario. Elle en est devenue la directrice générale nationale (de 2017 à 2020) et, à ce titre, son leadership lui a permis de collaborer avec des partenaires provinciaux dans tout le pays, de négocier des partenariats et des commandites avec des entreprises, des industries et des médias et de définir des stratégies et des objectifs organisationnels qui ont augmenté la portée, l’accessibilité et l’impact de la Fête de la culture.
Aubrey a travaillé au Conseil des arts de l’Ontario, à Trinity Square Video ainsi que pour la revue The Dance Current. Elle a également siégé aux conseils d’administration du LIFT (Liaison des cinéastes indépendants de Toronto) et de la compagnie de danse Dreamwalker.

Tate Peacock is an artist and arts administrator. She is excited to be joining the artsvest team and is a strong believer in the arts as a catalyst for deeper connections with one another.
Tate is an arts professional with experience and training from OCAD University and Centennial College. She is an innovative, adaptable problem-solver with strong communication skills. Tate is skilled at conceptualizing and visualizing creative projects/events and meeting tight deadlines.
Currently living in Toronto, she spends her free time enjoying movies, books and searching for the best restaurants in the city.

Jasper Sloan Yip (he/him) is a musician, podcaster, radio producer and community arts builder from Vancouver.
A self-taught artist, Jasper brings a DIY spirit to everything he does. He played his first show in the late aughts on a stage he built in his own backyard, and has since released four albums and toured in three continents.
When he is not on stage, in a studio or working with artsvest, you can find him at CiTR 101.9 FM in Vancouver, working with the radio-curious to develop their audio storytelling ambitions. He loves to cook, collect musical instruments, and is certified to scuba dive to a depth of 30 meters.

Ana Ramirez (she/her) is a visual storyteller and graphic designer with 10+ years of experience in design, communication, branding, and digital marketing, with a strong background in arts and sustainability.
Growing up in a home filled with books and a family deeply enthusiastic about arts, culture, and history; she fell in love with all kinds of artistic expression, being drawing and dancing her first approaches to the art world.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Graphic Design, a post-degree in Business and Corporate Communications, and has completed multiple courses in art, innovation, and design.
Beyond her creative work, Ana is passionate about fitness and wellness, and enjoys good coffee, tacos, and spending quality time with her family.

Reema is passionate about the power of arts in building community and effecting social change, and she is proud to work with a team of like-minded, talented, and dedicated colleagues and artists towards this goal. Having previously lived and worked in Ontario, she currently resides in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, with her husband and their eleven-year old twins. Reema is fluent in three languages – English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Aubrey Reeves
President and CEO
In October 2020, Aubrey Reeves joined Business / Arts as CEO, a role that continues her mission to see the arts and culture industry move sustainably into the future. Previously, Aubrey held leadership roles at Culture Days since its inception in 2010. Aubrey was recruited to help launch the inaugural Culture Days Weekend in Ontario that year. She eventually became National Executive Director (2017-2020) and in that capacity, she provided leadership and spearheaded collaborations with provincial partners across the country, brokered key corporate, industry and media sponsorships and partnerships, and championed organizational goals and strategies to increase the reach, accessibility and impact of Culture Days.
Aubrey has also worked with the Ontario Arts Council, Trinity Square Video, Dance Current Magazine and has served on the Boards of the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto and Dreamwalker Dance Company.
A multi-disciplinary artist, Aubrey possesses a unique set of sensibilities that allow her to champion initiatives encompassing the perspectives of artists, audiences, cultural organizations and partners alike. Her artworks have been exhibited across Canada and internationally.
