In recognition of her extraordinary career in arts leadership, Janice Price is being honoured with the 2026 Peter Herrndorf Award.
Janice Price is being celebrated for over four decades of leadership, advocacy, and volunteer service to the arts. Throughout her career, she has guided major institutions through periods of transformational growth and renewal, and earned a reputation as a trusted mentor to arts leaders across the country.
Price has held senior leadership roles at some of North America’s most celebrated cultural institutions, including the Stratford Festival, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Luminato Festival, and Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. She is currently President and CEO of ROM Governors, where she is responsible for all philanthropic activities in support of the Royal Ontario Museum’s mission.
