artsvest Regional returns to British Columbia, offering matching funds for sponsorships!

Apply by April 25, 2024

Through in-depth training, individualized mentorship, and peer-to-peer sessions, artsvest Regional aims to build capacity in the area of sponsorship for small and mid-sized arts, culture, and heritage organizations. Combined with matching fund incentives for new sponsorship dollars raised, the regional program equips BC organizations with tools to attract and retain corporate partners, enabling them to grow and thrive.

“artsvest talks and workshops served as eye-openers for us. They not only equipped us with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective sponsorship acquisition but also inspired continuous improvement and adaptability. We are now better positioned to pursue corporate sponsors and strengthen board development, ultimately contributing to our long-term sustainability and success.”

The 2024 program will welcome up to 20 organizations across BC prioritizing organizations located in rural and remote communities, organizations that are BIPOC-led or serving and organizations that service systemically under-resourced and equity-seeking groups. Returning participation is permitted, with priority given to new organizations.

To be eligible, organizations must first enrol in artsvest National, a free ongoing training and professional development program for arts organizations across Canada. While both programs run concurrently, the Regional program offers more focused training and matching funds as an additional component.

Interested organizations are invited to submit their applications until April 25, 2024.
