44th Annual Business / Arts Awards Celebration

The annual Business / Arts Awards recognize innovative partnerships between business and the arts, and spotlight exceptional volunteers, leaders and organizations who have made a significant contribution to the arts in Canada.

We invite you to join us for an evening of celebration on Monday, October 16th, 2023, to recognize the Power in Partnership. With a community of business and arts leaders across Canada dedicating tremendous amounts of time, talent and treasure to the arts, we are proud to recognize their efforts and share their stories in hopes of inspiring others.


Join us for a black-tie affair, celebrating lasting partnerships and exceptional service to the arts!

Event Details

Date: Monday, October 16th, 2023
Time: Cocktail and Welcome to begin at 5:00 p.m ET, followed by the Awards Ceremony and Dinner
Location: Royal Ontario Museum, 100 Queen’s Park, Toronto, ON M5S 2C6
Dress: Black-tie or equally elegant

Table Options

Business / Arts is committed to using our unique position to help strengthen the arts in meaningful ways across Canada. We would appreciate your support in helping to celebrate lasting partnerships and exceptional service to the arts!

Individual Ticket: $1,500

  • An invitation to attend the Awards cocktail reception
  • A seat at a table during the Awards ceremony and dinner
  • Donor recognition on the Business / Arts website
  • A charitable tax receipt for the maximum allowable amount

Corporate Table: $15,000

  • Invitations for eight guests to attend the Awards cocktail reception
  • A table for eight guests to attend the Awards ceremony and dinner
  • A quarter page congratulatory message or advertisement in the evening’s program booklet
  • Logo recognition in the evening’s program booklet and across Business / Arts’ digital platforms, including the 2023 Awards Celebration webpage, the homepage takeover of the Business / Arts website from October 16-22, and communications related to the 2023 Awards Celebration, including email announcements and social media posts.
  • Charitable tax receipt for the maximum allowable amount
  • In addition to the benefits listed above, you will also receive a 2023 Business / Arts Corporate Membership (valued at $6,500). Membership includes:

2023 Peter Herrndorf Arts Leadership Award 

In recognition of his work bringing the Qaumajuq building project from inception to reality. Under his leadership, the Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq has significantly elevated its role and profile in Canada with particular attention to Indigenous art and artmaking.

Owais Lightwala

2023 Arnold Edinborough Award

In recognition of his remarkable achievements as a champion of partnerships, innovation and inclusion in the arts. An arts leader and creative producer, he dedicates his teaching and research to creative producing and entrepreneurship within the arts.


Power Corporation of Canada

2023 Corporate Champion of the Arts Award

Through sustained investments and enduring partnerships with organizations nationwide, Power Corporation of Canada has been instrumental in strengthening the vibrancy of the Canadian arts and culture landscape.

BC Museums Association & Forager Education

2023 Community Impact Award

In response to the evolving digital landscape and challenges posed by the pandemic, the BC Museums Association and Forager Education are supporting education and the arts in British Columbia with The VR Voyage Classroom.
