Join us for a national program!

artsvest now offers virtual training and mentorship to organizations across Canada

In 2023, artsvest begins its first truly national iteration, in partnership with the Department of Canadian Heritage. Reimagined as a free, virtual training and mentorship program now available to organizations from anywhere in Canada, artsvest is focused on building the capacity of small to mid-sized arts, culture, and heritage organizations.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • A truly national program, accessible to small to mid-sized arts culture and heritage organizations from anywhere in Canada.
  • An inclusive program prioritizing rural, remote, systemically under-resourced, and equity-seeking communities in program reach, format, and delivery.
  • A self-led training program allowing flexible participation based on organizational needs, interests, and capacity.
  • An expanded curriculum covering a range of topics including marketing, sponsorship, board governance, organizational development, fund development, financial sustainability, strategic planning, adaptive changemaking, community engagement, and equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • A combination of webinars, peer-to-peer networking, and individualized mentorship sessions from a roster of expert mentors with diverse lived experiences.
  • An opportunity for select communities to access matching fund incentives for sponsorship growth through participation in artsvest Regional.

Registration is open, and organizations are invited to complete the form at any time.

Orientation and welcome will take place during the last week of each month.

Introducing artsvest Regional

In addition to the national artsvest program, select regions with local funding partners will be able to access matching fund incentives through artsvest Regional – a smaller, more focused program available in partnership with provincial and municipal funders. Currently offered in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Toronto, program capacity is limited, and participants are selected by a review committee. artsvest Regional will continue to grow and expand over the program cycle, with the goal to ultimately be available across the country. Learn more about artsvest Regional here.
