Business / Arts is pleased to announce the 2021 artsvest program. With continued support from Canadian Heritage and our regional funders, information sessions for the second intake of the artsvest program will take place online during 2021.

artsvest, a national matching incentive and mentorship training program for small and medium arts and cultural organizations across Canada, uses a unique funding model that leverages federal and local government funding to generate direct, private sector contributions. It was first launched in 2005 and to date 2,200 arts, culture and heritage organizations from across Canada have participated in artsvest, forming over 5,150 partnerships with businesses and raising over $23M in new private sector investment. The overall impact of artsvest on Canada’s cultural sector is $32.2M.

Participants benefit from group, peer-to-peer and individual mentorship sessions that provide comprehensive training, resources, and expertise in sponsorship, marketing and board governance. artsvest also provides matching funds that give organizations added incentive to maximize business support in the cultural sector and establish long-term successful business and arts partnerships.

artsvest is currently operating in Alberta, British Columbia, Montréal, Saskatchewan, and Toronto. Arts, culture or heritage organizations operating in these regions are invited to attend one of the corresponding regional information sessions.
