June 16, 2022

Business / Arts Announces the Impact of the 2019-2022 artsvest Program!

artsvest is Business / Arts’ signature program that builds capacity in the cultural sector through training, workshops and mentoring sessions related to sponsorship, board governance, and marketing. Combined with matching fund incentives, artsvest empowers organizations to forge successful partnerships with the private sector and encourages investments in the arts.

Working in close partnership with our national and regional funders, Business / Arts is proud to have extended support to program participants as they dealt with challenges and uncertainty related to the pandemic and equipped them with tools to help manage the ripple effects on their organizations.

Amidst an unprecedented time when partnership and community building was at its most important, the results of the 2019-2022 artsvest program illustrate the resilience of arts, culture and heritage organizations as well as the determination of our sector to collaborate, cultivate new partnerships and strengthen our communities.

Over the past three years, 72 volunteer mentors from across Canada shared their knowledge, insights and expertise through the presentation of webinars and one-on-one mentorship sessions. With more than 13,684 mentorship hours completed by our artsvest participants, these leaders from the business and arts sectors were instrumental in making the program’s objectives a reality.

Business / Arts congratulates all of the artsvest participants for their achievements throughout the program. We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our volunteer mentors and funders for their support. Without them, artsvest and the work we do to support arts organizations would not be possible.

Stay tuned for details on the next phase of the artsvest program. Launching in Fall 2022, the next phase of artsvest will continue to provide opportunities for mentorship and training to arts, culture and heritage organizations in regions across Canada.

With sincere and dedicated thanks to our partners:
